Hosted by Chai of @Teaacakkes (an ASF artist!)
Have you ever wanted to start cafe sketching? Are you someone who loves to get a little treat? Come join Chai, the artist behind Teaacakkes, for a quick lesson on the ins and outs of cafe sketching and watercolors! Learn to find joy in the little things and start on your cafe art journey with a gentle approach.
Bring yourself, a snack, and be ready to learn! Supplies will be available to use at the class, and you get to take home your very own beginner cafe sketching survival pack! You’ll also be able to build a custom watercolor paint palette by choosing 12 watercolor paints to take home in a portable metal tin - a watercolor palette completely unique to you!
If you can’t bring a snack or want to skip right to painting, reference images and pre-sketched images will also be available for attendees to use.
This workshop session will be hosted in the workshop loft at Aurora Stationery Fest on November 1, 2026. To attend this workshop, you must have both a workshop ticket and a ticket to Aurora Stationery Fest. To reserve a ticket to Aurora Stationery Fest, click here.
Supplies that will be provided in your take-home pack:
Date: November 1, 2026
Time: 2 PM - 3 PM
Location: Two Brothers Roundhouse, Aurora, IL 60505
Workshop tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
